This 3 day class addresses how procurement's function is maximized when it plays a role in organizational strategic planning and budgeting.  It explores planning and budgeting processes.  It also emphasizes operational realities-the importance of defining client needs, assessing customer satisfaction and properly staffing, developing and managing human resources to ensure long term success.  

To register go to www.nigp.org once you are on the site click on ‘Professional Development’ tab in the upper left hand corner.  A blue box will open under it, click on ‘Currently Scheduled Courses’.  You will then be directed to a page of search options.  Click on the down arrow in the box ‘Select a Topic’ and select ‘Strategic Procurement Planning'.  Select the Des Moines, Iowa location and scroll down to the bottom of the page to register.
